Collecting vintage Sighthound images is one of my favorite pastimes. Recently I was thrilled to discover a new artist,
Louis Icart. Icart was prominent during the Art Deco period, and his paintings and illustrations beautifully convey life in Paris and New York during the 1920's and 1930's. That particular era resonates strongly to me. So much so that I bought and live in a 1928 bungalow.
Here are just a few examples of Icart's work. Enjoy!
